Ms Gardner,

one month after issuing questions to your department about the swine flu “pandemic” and the swine flu vaccine, I have still not received answers.

According to video footage of a vial of CSL’s Panvax H1N1 Vaccine seen shown on television last week, the vaccine contains Thiomersal, which is nearly 50% mercury by weight.

What else does the vaccine contain? (See the attached message history for a list of possible contents of interest, including MF59 or squalene)

What is different about this swine flu vaccine in terms of manufacture and testing?

In what way(s), if any, does the WHO pandemic level, and/or equivalent Australian medical emergency status affect the development and usage of the vaccine and the liability that the manufacture will (or will not) face in the case of problems?

To Dr Richard David, if you are able to address these questions (please refer to the message history below), please do.

Still no answers from the Government about the swine flu pandemic and vaccines

Posted by bradfieldresident on 18 August 2009

Nearly two weeks have passed since Jamie Geysen received my Questions about Pandemic H1N1 2009 influenza email, passed on by Fay Gardner, Assistant Secretary of the Health Protection Policy Branch of the Department of Health and Ageing. I have directed my question back to Fay Gardner, with related information and qestions such as:

  • An article in the Illawarra Mercury (Appin girl, 6, trials swine flu vaccine, Mon 10 Aug 09) about a young girl with a suppressed immune system whose mother was desperate to have her be part of the vaccine trials
  • Baxter exported live avian flu in an “experimental vaccine” that was not supposed to contain avian flu virus at all to 18 countries in 2009; this “weaponised” Baxter vaccine came from a BSL3 (Biosafetly Level 3) facility where such a “mistake” could not have accidentally occurred
  • What external testing will be done on the Australian vaccine?
  • Large numbers of illness, disablement and death caused by 1976 swine flu vaccinations
  • Claims that pandemic H1N1 influenza is a man-made virus, with swine, avian and human influenza components
  • Greece and the UK have announced population-wide vaccination programs – what is Australia’s plan?

The email to Ms Gardner is viewable at:

Below are some references for the contaminated Baxter vaccine incident.

Ms Gardner,

on Tuesday 4 August 2009 you passed my questions on to “Health Ops”. Jamie Geysen replied suggesting a proper response “within the next week”.

Near two weeks have passed without any further information, nor a reply to my concern about testing on children, especially those with suppressed immune systems.

I have since found an article about Ebony Shearer, a 6 year old girl mentioned in a story I heard on television last week:

http://www.illawarramercury.com.au/news/local/news/general/appin-girl-6-trials-swine-flu-vaccine/1591049.aspx?storypage=0

Illawarra Mercury
Appin girl, 6, trials swine flu vaccine
BY ANGELA THOMPSON
10/08/2009 4:00:00 AM

The article indicates that Ebony was trecently contracted whooping cough:

However, [Ebony’s] rocky beginning left her lungs forever compromised and as a result she is prone to chest infections and colds, and has only just recovered from a bout of whooping cough she picked up in January.

My recollection of the television story was that Ebony had been “immunised” (vaccinated) against whooping cough, not mentioned in this Mercury article.

The story shows the mother’s desperation

Mrs Shearer pulled her daughter out of school two weeks ago.

She wanted to protect her from the swine flu pandemic, and was so keen to see her vaccinated she was preparing to fly her to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where adult vaccine trials began on July 22.

and comes with a very convenient feel-good quote:

”She knows she’ll be able to play with the other kids if she gets the needle,” Mrs Shearer said.

At issue is not just that vaccination offers a false sense of hope but that it is outright deceptive. Vaccination does not afford immunisation, as ably demonstrated by Ebony’s vaccination against and subsequent contraction of whooping cough, if not the millions of people worldwide who have contracted various diseases for which they had supposedly been “immunised” (actually vaccinated) against.

Baxter, another pharmecutical company producing vaccines, only earlier this year exported what was essentially a weaponised bio-weapon in the form of an “experimental vaccine” that actually contained live a avian flu virus to some 18 countries, despite the facility purportedly being a BSL3 (Biosafetly Level 3) facility where such a “mistake” could not have accidentally occurred, and which, if it had gone undetected by external testing, may have lead to a massive worldwide disaster.

What external testing will be done on this vaccine made in Australia? How is the Australian public to know what is in it and what harm it may cause?

The millions of doses of “swine flu” vaccine given in 1976 lead to large numbers of deaths, serious illness and permanent disablement of recipients in the United States – and that was from a “scare” on a military base where only one person actually dies from the virus, and that was after they had been sick and subsequently went on a forced marh, dying only after the stress of the forced march.

Why, instead of seriously investigating the sordid history of vaccines and vaccination programs worldwide, do we instead give phamecutical companies billions of dollars to poison us, infect us with diseases and ultimately kill us? Some scientists say that this current “pandemic” virus strain is almost certainly man-made, containing elements from swine, avian and human influenzas. What is the Australian Government’s scientific advisory about such claims?

I am waiting for some serious answers to my questions abot the contents of the vaccine currently under trial, and any modification to or alternate vaccine that will (apparently) be suppled by CSL or any other company to be used in Australia, as are a number of my contacts. Other countries have announced population-wide vaccination programs (Greece and UK as examples). What is Australia’s plan?

Concerns about H1N1 vaccine trial on children

Posted by bradfieldresident on 11 August 2009

I heard on a television program last night that a swine flu vaccine trial has begun in Sydney, with children being tested for the “optimum treatment”, that is, one shot or two? One woman spoke about how she was eager to have her daughter in the vaccine trial, since her daughter is prone to illnesses due to a suppressed immune system. In the report it was mentioned that a child in the family [update: it was Emily, the daughter with the suppressed immune system] had recently contracted whooping cough, despite supposedly being immunised. What wasn’t asked is why the girl’s mother believed the trial H1N1 immunisation would be effective when clearly other immunisation was not effective.

I had previously read that adult trials had already begun in Adelaide, again only to determine whether one or two doses was best.

For neither of these trials did I hear of there being any control group – a group offered a placebo, or some other vaccine (I have read of a similar flu vaccine trial where some participants were given a hepatitis vaccine) – so the assumption is that yes, the vaccine is good for you, we just need to work out how much you need.

It has been a week since the Department of Health and Ageing’s initial response to my Questions about Pandemic H1N1 2009 influenza, so I wrote again to express my concern (view email to DoH).

Mr Geysen,

I am concerned that human trials have begun on young children in Sydney, as announced on television and other news sources, especially after seeing a story about a family who rushed to have their young daughter, with a suppressed immune system, to be part of the trial. In that television item it was noted that one of the family’s children had recently contracted whooping cough “despite being immunised”, a thin admission that immunisation does not work.

I am also concerned that you are delaying your response to my questions about the contents and effectiveness of the vaccines in order to suppress vital information for the people of Australia.

Questions about Pandemic H1N1 2009 influenza

Posted by bradfieldresident on 4 August 2009

On Friday 31 July 2009 I sent an email to Fay Gardner, Assistant Secretary of the Health Protection Policy Branch of the Department of Health and Ageing (of the Australian Federal Government). It contained a number of questions about the swine flu “pandemic”, what is in the vaccines, who makes it, and so on.

On Monday 03 August, following up on that email,  I made a phonecall to Ms Gardner’s office in Canberra to ask if it had been received and whether I would receive a response. I was informed by her assistant that the office receives hundreds of emails every day, and, upon searching for my message, was able to confirm that it had been received, and that it would be brought to Ms Gardner’s attention. Shortly thereafter a written confirmation was sent.

On Tuesday morning, Ms Gardner forwarded my questions on to “Health Ops” (apparently the National Incident Room for the Office of Health Protection).

Around lunchtime, Jamie Geysen provided an initial response, writing “I expect that a response to your questions will be provided within the next week.”

Ms Gardner,

I have addressed this message to you as Assistant Secretary of the Health Protection Policy Branch of the Department of Health and Ageing after noting the “Pandemic Preparedness” section at http://www.health.gov.au/internet/main/publishing.nsf/Content/ohp-about.htm

Please acknowledge receipt of this email and, as appropriate, answer my questions or refer my message on to the relevant person/department with a copy to this address (bradfieldnsw@gmail.com). I am aware that there are a lot of questions, and as such would like a brief initial response to let me know that the questions have been received with some indication of how long a detailed answer might be to follow.

A copy is also addressed to the NSW Health Department for reference, in case there is anything that is particular to NSW regulation that is different to the federal story, and I would of course be interested to hear of differences to other states and territories, if any. Please coordinate/delegate as appropriate.

Thankyou.

To the Australian Government,

Returning to Sydney in June from an extended stay abroad, I was moderately alarmed to learn, only shortly before landing, that the H1N1 swine flu outbreak was considered a “pandemic”, thinking this meant there were large numbers of deaths and illness (and general pandemonium). Of course, after arriving I found that not to be the case, and it appears that the H1N1 2009 influenza is mainly mild.

It has since come to my attention that the definition of “pandemic”, at least so far as used by the World Health Organisation, has changed, removing conditions of severity, and that, more generally, there hasn’t typically been a consistent definition for the term.

Does the Australian government use WHO terminology or some other terminology? How and where is this information presented to the public? Has the Australian terminology, whatever it is based on, changed in recent times, and if so, what is the change?

Are there any government-level legal ramifications arising from the declaration or not of “pandemic” or any other medical threat level, such as might be found in the United States where “pandemic” conditions allow the government additional powers, such as forced vaccinations, quarantine restrictions and so on, and if so, what are they?

Similar to the possibility of augmented governmental powers, are there different regulations applying to the manufacture, testing, administration and so on of drugs, medications, vaccines etc, such as in the United States where manufacturers are not liable for damages, and proper testing does not have to occur before human trials (or indeed widespread use) of experimental or otherwise unproven vaccines issued under “pandemic” (or other specified medical level) conditions? If so, what are they?

I have also learned that the Australian government purchased around 20 million doses of a flu vaccine in the past month or so. Where has this vaccine come from, how was it made and what does it contain? Does it contain a “live” virus? Does it contain MF-59, aluminium salts or any other adjuvant(s)? Does it contain mercury in the form of Thimerosal or any other form? Does it contain Gentamycin or any other antibiotic? Does it contain Polysorbate 80? Does it contain formaldehyde? Does it contain Triton X100 or any other detergent(s)? Does it contain gelatin or egg proteins? Does it contain any virus, dead, disabled or otherwise, other than the “desired” H1N1 virus? What other known harmful ingredients does it contain? What sort of testing, if any, has it undergone, and how is that testing (or lack thereof) different to what would ordinarily be required for a medicine or vaccine (under normal, non-pandemic circumstances)?

The huge quantity suggests an intention for the entire Australian population to be vaccinated. Following I cite some examples where it is sugested flu vaccinations are NOT effective. Given this information, how does the Australian government justify the use of flu vaccines at all, let alone consider them for every man woman and child? What scientifically justifiable evidence is there that a vaccine would be effective on a broad application across the population? Is there an intention for mass innoculations? Under what circumstances would this occur? Would it be voluntary? What sort of information would be provided to the public (especially regarding the issues I have raised)?

Where questions can be answered by existing online published material, please feel free to simply reference that material with current URLs if you do not wish to repeat that information directly in an email. Of course, for information regarding the government’s reasoning or justification of various matters, scientific (and other external) references are of course expected where appropriate.

If you are unable or unwilling to answer any of these questions, please detail the reason(s) for such inability or unwillingness, and if any reasons are legal reasons please cite whatever law(s), statue(s), act(s) or whatever they are with specific reference to the relevant section(s), etc.

Not in babies

In a review of more than 51 studies involving more than 294,000 children it was found there was “no evidence that injecting children 6-24 months of age with a flu shotwas any more effective than placebo. In children over 2 yrs, it was only effective 33% of the time in preventing the flu.

Reference: “Vaccines for preventing influenza in healthy children.” The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. 2 (2008).

Not in children with asthma

A study 800 children with asthma, where one half were vaccinated and the other half did not receive the influenza vaccine. The two groups were compared with respect to clinic visits, emergency department (ED) visits, and hospitalizations for asthma. CONCLUSION: This study failed to provide evidence that the influenza vaccine prevents pediatric asthma exacerbations.

Reference: “Effectiveness of influenza vaccine for the prevention of asthma exacerbations.” Christly, C. et al. Arch Dis Child. 2004 Aug;89(8):734-5.

Not in children with asthma (2)

“The inactivated flu vaccine, Flumist, does not prevent influenza-related hospitalizations in children, especially the ones with asthma…In fact, children who get the flu vaccine are more at risk for hospitalization than children who do not get the vaccine.”

Reference: The American Thoracic Society’s 105th International Conference, May 15-20, 2009, San Diego.

Not in adults

In a review of 48 reports including more than 66,000 adults, “Vaccination of healthy adults only reduced risk of influenza by 6% and reduced the number of missed work days by less than one day (0.16) days. It did not change the number of people needing to go to hospital or take time off work.”

Reference: “Vaccines for preventing influenza in healthy adults.” The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. 1 (2006).

Not in the Elderly

In a review of 64 studies in 98 flu seasons, For elderly living in nursing homes, flu shots were non-significant for preventing the flu. For elderly living in the community, vaccines were not (significantly) effective against influenza, ILI or pneumonia.

Reference: “Vaccines for preventing influenza in the elderly.” The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. 3(2006).
